  • Develop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the assigned sales quota for the region. Leverage Data and utilize market research to segment the European market and develop and execute strategies that drive growth throughout the region.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and implement sales and market growth strategies and assist channel partners in implementing such programs to grow sales and relationships. Analyze sales trends and work with Sales Management to develop and execute a sales plan coordinating the effort with field sales
  • Manage and develop Sales and Service Teams throughout the Region. Recruit, hire, train, and lead a team of sales and service team members across the region, providing ongoing coaching and performance evaluation.
  • Deliver a high level of customer contact with key distributors, dealers, and strategic customers.
  • Provide sales performance guidance, forecasts, and issue resolution to distributor principals and sales teams
  • Provide sales strategy, product, application, and technical support on the assigned product family
  • Manage Distributor field sales as required in complex deals and significant opportunities, accompany sales personnel on customer calls as required
  • Support assigned key accounts and sectors, including management of product roll-out programs and coordination of technical programs

Competenze ed esperienza

A successful 'Regional Sales Manager' should have:

  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to connect with different audiences quickly.
  • Familiarity with key sales concepts of product performance, customer satisfaction, and field product application
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • The ability to travel 50 % of the time is required.
  • English, German is a plus. Any other EU language is welcome
