The Client is a European industrial company that specializes in making pallet loads more stable in automated end‑of‑line production. They design and supply anti‑slip paper together with automatic sheet dispensers, helping manufacturers keep loads steady, reduce transport damage, and make palletizing more efficient.

Their value proposition combines both consumables and equipment. By delivering anti‑slip paper on rolls along with automated dispensers that fit directly into palletizing lines, they offer a reliable and consistent solution that removes manual handling and improves overall performance.

They mainly work with industries that have high palletizing volumes—such as food & beverage, FMCG, industrial manufacturing, and logistics. Their solutions integrate easily into existing production lines, whether robotic or traditional.

The Company sees itself as a solution provider rather than just a material supplier. Beyond the products, they focus on efficiency, reliability, and easy integration, helping customers reduce downtime, increase throughput, and secure their loads throughout the supply chain.

From a sustainability perspective, their paper‑based solutions meet the growing demand for less plastic, higher recyclability, and lower environmental impact—without compromising on performance.

The Company operates internationally through both direct sales and distributor partnerships, depending on each market’s maturity. As part of therir growth strategy, we are exploring new opportunities in key European markets, including France, where automation, pallet optimization and sustainable packaging are becoming increasingly important.

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER ITALY

The Position

Role: Regional Sales Manager Italy

Position Context

The Company wants to strengthen its commercial presence in Italy, where the market is build up with our regional sales manager over the last 10 years. The current regional sales manager wants to retire this summer and therefor it is natural for the Company to search for at new candidate in Italy.
The market today represents a good base revenue with good earnings and is based on long term relations based on good performance from the Company and their products. The Regional Sales Manager Italy will help build a much stronger and sustainable market presence, develop a distributor and partner network, and represent the Company toward key stakeholders.

The Italian market is many times bigger than the current revenue and therefor we also need new eyes and stronger performance on the Italian market.

The role offers a high level of autonomy and is expected to grow over time, but also requires strong performance and a high number of customer touch points.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Network Building
  • Identify and develop a network of distributors and partners across Italy
  • Build and structure key accounts and develop long‑term relationships
  • Grow commercial relationships with industrial players, distributors, system integrators and advisors
  • Position the Company as a trusted and recognized market player
  • Represent the company towards customers and local partners
Sales & Customer Support
  • Manage targeted direct sales with key accounts and strategic projects
  • Develop key accounts from first contact to long‑term partnership
  • Use a consultative, solution‑oriented sales approach focused on integration and performance
  • Adapt commercial offers and sales tactics to local market conditions
  • Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines
  • Support partners in promoting and selling Company's solutions
  • Participate in commercial negotiations and contract work
Marketing, Visibility & Representation
  • Help build Company’s visibility in Italy
  • Attend trade fairs, industry events and exhibitions
  • Provide input for marketing based on customer needs and market feedback
Internal Coordination & Reporting
  • Collaborate closely with headquarters (sales, marketing, technical)
  • Provide ongoing market feedback on trends, competition and customer expectations
  • Keep CRM updated and maintain an accurate weekly sales pipeline
  • Attend monthly sales meetings
  • Join global sales meetings at HQ twice a year
  • Contribute to international coordination and knowledge sharing
Experience & Competencies
  • Proven B2B sales experience
  • Industrial, packaging, automation or technical solution background is a plus
  • Experience building markets or partner networks
  • Experience managing key accounts
  • Ability to work independently in a less structured environment
  • Strong understanding of industrial decision processes and long sales cycles
  • Fluent English and Italian (spoken and written)

Salary & Benefits
  • Base salary: 70–90 k€
  • Bonus: 1-1,5 months salary as an annual bonus based on performance and clear KPI goals
  • (The final package depends on the candidate’s experience.)

Location:Home‑based

Travel: Frequent travel within Italy + occasional international travels to Denmark and other countries
