Operations manager

For an international industrial group, a leader in its sector and growing through dynamic worldwide acquisitions, we are looking for an:

OPERATIONS MANAGER

The OM will oversee approximately 100 employees across two plants, reporting directly to the Italian CEO, and will be responsible for:

• Supervising and coordinating two Italian plants, focusing on planning, production, engineering, maintenance, warehouse management, and plant/office facilities, leading about 10 direct reports.
• Representing the Italian Business Unit within the group, sharing data, P&L reports, budgets, and forecasts with other OM across Italy and Southern Europe, supporting data consolidation and continuous improvement.
• Managing production efficiency, optimizing resources, getting production lead times, ensuring quality, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensuring product availability by working closely with other company departments.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Engineering and has proven experience in managing production plants, engineering, and facilities, with a modern and dynamic approach.

OM should be target-oriented, have a strong understanding of P&L management, focus on optimization at all levels (especially in the production field) and be able to represent the company both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate has strong managerial skills, diplomacy, team development abilities, and a good understanding of industrial processes.

Fluency in English is essential (B2 / C1).

Strong organizational skills, planning ability, proactivity, and dynamism are key requirements.
