What is your role?

The MT IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible under the direction of the IT Director to formulate and recommend strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information technology solutions and to ensure all systems currently in use are working effectively and supported responsively.

As a Value Center IT Infrastructure Manager, a person in this role will be expected to:

 •  Lead within in a matrixed organization the Infrastructure function of the Value center across the globe.
 •  Act as an extension (liaison) of the IT Director and the corporate IT function, partnering with the IT teams in the different business units to address their needs where information technology solutions are required.
 •  Support the IT Director in the budget definition and cost tracking/control for the infrastructure & communication area.
 •  Full project management ownership and accountability of all assigned projects in his area of work.
 •  In working with his/her peers, understand their needs and assist them to further the goals of the organization.
 •  Lead/guide indirect reports (within a matrixed organization) to ensure that execution of planned projects and operations support is done so in a consistent fashion.
 •  Lead and drive the adoption of new technology strategies and processes.
 •  Work with business and IT leaders to determine, analyze and refine requirements for planned efforts.
 •  Act as an escalation point for IT and business personnel.
 •  Apply guidance & expertise to assist with executing the efforts/projects as needed.
 •  Lead the adoption of standard processes, technology and architecture; identify gaps and work to remediate.
 •  Manage all intermediary vendor and other contract personnel in region for contract execution.
 •  Support in development, implementation and maintenance of the General Computer Control Rules as for the IT Infrastructure area within the framework of SOX .
 •  Support in development, implementation and maintenance of the prescriptions as for the IT Infrastructure area within the framework of TISAX.
 •  Assess and select new hires as well as identifying and coaching talent within the organization
 •  Working with Value Center and Enterprise leadership, help craft and refresh the Infrastructure strategic roadmap
 •  Lead the team in managing IT services for the relevant sites which span across the entire IT infrastructure area from networking/communication and system administration to helpdesk and messaging.
 •  Set & drive the strategy and execution of all projects with his/her area of responsibility.
 •  Maintain an active and accurate pipeline of planned efforts.
 •  Plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the team, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
 •  Assist and support the IT Director and the other IT leaders of the Enterprise in the M&A related initiatives for what requested within the IT Infrastructure area

A successful person in this role will be able to discuss business and IT requirements with other leaders and team to ensure that they are specified correctly and are cost effective. A person in this role will collaborate with different IT teams from around the globe in leading the design and execution of solutions.

Responsabilità essenziali:

 •  College Degree in computer science, information sciences or related field and 3-5 years’ experience OR 5-7 Years relevant experience with 2-3 Years in IT Mgmt.
 •  Fluent English skills, oral and written.
 •  ITIL Foundations certified, or equivalent experience.
 •  Solid knowledge of technologies in the areas he/she is responsible for.
 •  Strong business acumen as it related to business processes, general management, budgeting & office operations.
 •  Ability to lead and execute required organizational change management tasks when implementing/deploying a solution.
 •  Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of policy, standards and procedures.
 •  Exceptional knowledge of computer hardware, software and networked systems.
 •  Demonstrated progressive experience in the management of a technical support team.
 •  Ability to develop, maintain and provide oversight related to Service Level Agreements.
 •  Ability to maintain a high level of employee morale within the team.
 •  Solid project and program management skills.
 •  Ability to participate in special projects as requested.
 •  Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems.

Requisiti di posizione:

 •  Proven experience in leading and managing virtual teams.
 •  Proven experience in global management of both infrastructure services and staff who manage those services.
 •  Highly self-motivated and self-directed.
 •  Experience in leading the planning, analysis, design and implementation of projects.
 •  Ability to work with others to implement IT changes to an organization (people, process and technology) and do so in a manner that is mindful of the impact to the business and downstream factors.
 •  Excellent relationship management and performance management skills.
 •  Ability to motivate and provide guidance to staff members (direct or indirect).
 •  Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
 •  Strong documentation skills.
 •  Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
 •  Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
 •  Keen attention to detail.
 •  Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 •  Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
 •  Demonstrated customer service orientation.
 •  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
 •  Ability to assemble resources across different time zones, geographies and cultures to deliver IT solutions in a repeatable, consistent fashion.
 •  Ability to in participate in and/or lead efforts related to acquisition and divestiture efforts both in due diligence and post announcement integration is a plus.
