As Software Engineer AI you will become an expert of our scanning optimization solutions, having the possibility to keep up-to-date with the latest computer vision and deep learning developments. You will implement, validate and optimize our software in relation to industry needs and further investigate the state-of-the-art, contributing to the success of our innovating company.
Your tasksCollaboration in the design and development of image processing and computer vision algorithmsIntegration of artificial intelligence solutions into industrial measurement systems and processesCustomization of machine learning solutions meeting customer needs and training of new models, increasing the performance of our scanning optimization solutionsMaintenance and improvement of our sophisticated 2D and 3D image processing solutions, with a continuous alignment to the latest computer vision and machine learning developmentsInvestigation and research to solve new products related issues (i.e segmentation, object recognition and classification)Contribution in the creation, testing, commissioning and documentation of prototypes and productsInvolvement in data science activities, with the analysis of collected data and decisions related to future data collectionYour profileMaster Degree in Information Engineering, Computer Science or similarGood understanding of Pyhton and C++Experience with training frameworks such as PyTorch/Tensorflow, experienche with inference library TensoRT is an advantageFamiliarity with the development environment PyCharm The familiarity with the development environment Microsoft Visual Studio is an advantageGood knowledge of computer vision and image processingGood knowledge of English and Italian, knowledge of German is appreciatedStructured and autonomous way of working with a product application-oriented approachAvailability to travel worldwideHigh problem-solving skills and willingness to join a high level team-work environmentStrong relational and communication skillsDriving license BMiCROTEC – WORLD LEADING WOOD SCANNING SOLUTIONSMiCROTEC is the global technology and market leader in intelligent wood property recognition for optimizing the use in the wood processing industry and has been setting the standards in this market since 1980.
