Production Planning Manager

Passione Beauty Spa, European leader in the e-commerce sales of cosmetic products market, is looking for a figure in the role of Production Planning Manager.
Responsibilities & Major Duties
• Develop and execute production plans to meet the sales demand
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure efficient scheduling of manufacturing processes
• Collaborate with raw material suppliers to secure timely and quality inputs for nail polish production
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels
• Work closely with the filler team to ensure seamless integration of bulk order, arrivals, and filling processes
• Schedule production runs in alignment with filler capacity and requirements
• Coordinate with label and pack suppliers to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials
• Monitor label inventory levels and work with suppliers to address any shortages or quality issues
• Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain product quality standards
• Act as a liaison between planning, procurement, logistics, production, and other internal stakeholders
• Communicate production plans and any changes to relevant departments to ensure alignment
• Analyse production capacities and identify opportunities for optimization
• Work with internal teams to implement improvements in the production process
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact production schedules or product quality; pay high attention on stockout risk products and prioritize stock out products
• Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges in the supply chain or production process
• Utilize data and key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of production plans
• Generate reports on production efficiency, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics
• Support in managing and coordinating the workforce employed in the production area (10-20 people)
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
• Proven experience in production planning, seasonal products are strongly preferred
• Sound understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse internal teams and external stakeholders
• Proficient in English
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP, MRP, WMS
