We are looking for

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TEAM LEADER – (Plastic division)

Responsabilities and Role

Lead all product development activities on the allocated projects
 •  Have indirect leadership responsibility for all product development projects team members
 •  Member of project team coordinated by the Program Manager
 •  Develop a schedule of product development activities and track their delivery, reporting out status to the Program Manager and/or others as required
 •  Manage and report project resources and expenditure vs. agreed targets, report deviations to PM
 •  Support Program Managers through adherence to the product development process and the timely completion of gate deliverables
 •  Perform technical risk and issue analysis and management, and ensure appropriate escalation for resolution where needed
 •  Lead product configuration and change management activities for the product development team
 •  Provide product development impact analysis to Program Manager for customer and/or internal driven changes
 •  Lead in the identification and resolution of technical product development issues
 •  Provide technical liaison with external/internal customers as first point of contact
 •  Support Quality in the analysis of warranty claims

Skills and Requirements
 •  Education: degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or similar is preferred
 •  3-5 years work experience in a similar role, preferably in automotive field
 •  Previous experience/knowledge of project management techniques and tools
 •  Previous experience/knowledge of D-FMEA and P-FMEA tools
 •  Previous experience/knowledge of CAE methodologies and tools
 •  Previous experience/knowledge of product validation tests and equipment
 •  Knowledge of metal components design/materials/manufacturing technologies is preferred
 •  Basic knowledge of intellectual property aspects related to product development
 •  Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
 •  Decision-making, communication, influencing and leading skills
 •  Teamwork, negotiation
 •  Adaptability and stress tolerance
 •  Good English language both spoken and written is a must
