Experis is looking for a Material & Processes Engineer to strengthen our Aerospace & Defence division in Como offices.
Mission
We are looking for a Material and Process Engineer with a solid experience in materials and processes selection within space industry, control and procurement to join our team. You will become part of a growing and dynamic Quality and Product Assurance group granting quality of hardware components across a range of high-performance applications in the new space domain.
How your contribution will make a difference
• Contribute to the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of Space Product
Assurance organization
• Create, maintain and control the typical M&P lists of assigned projects
• Control, through every phase of the hardware development lifecycle, the compliance of processes and parts to the Products quality levels agreed with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure M&P selection processes are followed correctly and consistently
• Manage material configuration to ensure availability and traceability of products
• Contribute to the definition of an effective non-conformance control system, and support the
documentation, follow-up and closure of anomaly reports and non-conformance reports, including the
follow-up of Request for Deviation/Request for Waiver status;
• Contribute to RAMS analysis during project lifecycle;
Characteristics of the person who will join the Experis team
• Several years of experience in M&P roles, preferably in the space industry
• Knowledge of any topics within M&P (both COTS and space-grade) for space applications in a plus
• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge of applicable standards on M&P (i.e. ECSS and ASTM)
• Capability of working in autonomy
• Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
