Senior Buyer Raw Materials
The Senior Buyer Raw material ( focus packaging) will be responsible for handling cross regional sourcing activities and will actively contribute to the build and execution plans of the category strategy. In this role, you will strategically manage regional stakeholders and key supplier relationships, in alignment with the category strategy, reporting to group purchasing head.
Key responsibilities: Execute highly complex sourcing events Compile and analyze business case scenarios to identify favourite cost option and set price objectives Provide technical expertise mainly in the area of packaging Negotiate with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to resolve factors that affect prices and the lowest cost, consistent with quality, reliability and ability to meet required schedules Drive the implementation of cross regional sourcing decisions Lead key regional suppliers and stakeholders' relationship building, maintenance and monitoring KPI Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum of five years of related work experience in procurement or sourcing, in an industrial environment ( good have: Experience in field of medical equipment and packaging category knowhow ) Experience in project management (involvement in change management) and very good stake holder management Fluent level of English ( good to have: Knowledge of Italian and/or Polish MS Office Suite (Excel) Flexibility to travel 30% of time The job offer includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
