About The RoleIn the role of the Area Sales Manager, you will report directly to Acma’s Head of Sales and be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in specific assigned business units and regions to achieve sales results in line with commercial and budget goals.
You will also keep accurate records of all prices, sales, and activities connected to business and customers.Main responsibilities include: Sales strategy: you will implement sales strategies and manage sales processes in order to consolidate and develop business results by achieving assigned budgeted resultsBusiness development: you will manage current customers and develop new ones, supporting the implementation of marketing plansOffering Phase: collaborating with the technical department in order to evaluate client requirements, you will manage technical negotiations and prepare commercial offers aligned with company capabilitiesSales management: you will coordinate the agents in the area, dealing with the direct customers.

If required, you will also support agents in standard proposals. This position will be based in Bologna, Italy. What You Need To Be Successful 10 years of relevant experience in a commercial role within automatic machinery companiesMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalentGood understanding of the English language, both written and oralKnowledge of French will be considered a plusAvailability to travel (50% of working time): global exposure in international markets will be requiredStrong negotiation abilities in managing complex selling processes Personal drive and result orientedEffective communication skills to easily build trust towards colleagues and stakeholdersSuccessful customer-centric approach
