With a global turnover exceeding € 2 billions and an accelerated growth path year over year, they are currently strengthening the Railway Rolling Stock Division. To assist the Client in this process we are searching for a:
RAILWAY ENGINEER
(CONFORMITY CERTIFICATION)
Key Responsibilities:
After a dedicated training program, He/She will be entitled to examine railway vehicles and their components as an Inspection Center Expert according to ISO / IEC 17020, and evaluate the following requirements: TSI (Technical Specifications for Interoperability), NNTR and BOStrab, both for new vehicles and for any changes made.
In the acquired role of NoBo / DeBos, will conduct audits on production or changes to vehicles, as well as in the AsBo function, evaluate risk management processes according to CSM-RA or ISA standards for the approval of new vehicles or modifications to be deployed.
He/She will manage projects and constantly monitor quality, timing, financial sustainability, etc. at all project stages.
Requirements.
• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering with specialization in vehicle traction / railway
technology.
• One to five years of professional experience in the development, commissioning, or assessment of
railway vehicles, including participation in testing.
• Basic knowledge of regulations, compliance and relevant standards (e.g. ISO/IEC 17020).
• Proven fluency in German language.
• Availability to travel (30/40% on a yearly basis)
• Driving license.
Compensation at the highest average market norms for the role.
Work Location: Cologne (alternatively Wiesbaden or Berlin)
