As Software Engineer, you will become an expert of our scanning and optimization solutions. You will develop and improve our software products in relation to industry needs, working in an international team and contributing to the success of our innovating company.
Your tasksCollaboration in the design and development of image processing and computer vision algorithmsIntegration of artificial intelligence solutions into industrial measurement systems and processesContribution in the creation, testing, commissioning and documentation of prototypes and productsDesign, adaptation, and validation of our software meeting customer-specific requirementsResponsibility for the development, maintenance, and customization of one or more of our software products and librariesYour profileMaster’s degree or PhD in computer science, electronic engineering, or similarExperience in the development of software projects in the industrial sectorGood understanding of C/C++ and familiarity with the development environments (Microsoft Visual Studio)Good knowledge of computer vision and image processingBasic knowledge of CUDA is appreciatedGood knowledge of English and Italian, knowledge of German is appreciatedStructured and autonomous way of working with a product application-oriented approachAvailability to travel worldwideDriving license BMiCROTEC – WORLD LEADING WOOD SCANNING SOLUTIONSMiCROTEC is the global technology and market leader in intelligent wood property recognition for optimizing the use in the wood processing industry and has been setting the standards in this market since 1980.
