For our season, we are looking for a Pool Manager to coordinate all the pool related operations and activities.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/she should have exemplary customer service skills.
He/She will Report to the Director of Rooms
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Leading, directing, and supervising staff in the daily operations of the Swimming Pool and Fitness centre
• Meet, greet and farewell guests and VIPs as well as repeat guests while recognising and anticipating their individual needs
• Monitor and, when needed assist, the smooth functioning of the daily service at the Swimming Pool and Fitness Centre while ensuring all policies and procedures are properly understood and followed through
• Handle any guest complaints and comments relating to the department tactfully and in line with Belmond standards
• Implement any Pool and Fitness related projects and global programs
• Develop positive relations with all stakeholders, whilst remaining professional and service oriented at all times, always ensuring a high level of courtesy with all parties
• Attend all meetings required according to the hotel meetings schedule
• Check that any equipment is always kept in good working order and that stocks are appropriate to the business needs
• Make sure that all Health and Security protocols are always in place and adhered to.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to enhance guest services and satisfaction.
• Cooperate closely with the Restaurant manager to make sure that all guests' requests for food and beverages are promptly satisfied
• Together with the F&B Department ensure that the service at the Swimming Pool is always punctual and following Belmond standards
Requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• At least 2 years of experience in similar managerial roles
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of English language, other languages will be considered a plus
• Able to manage stressful situations
• Strong customer care skills
