Role Overview:
Reporting to EMEA Sales Leader based in Germany, the Sales Manager Auto Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) is accountable for managing and increasing our customers portfolio in European countries.
Responsibilities:
Primarily focal point for our organization in front of the customer: lead the resources required to effectively manage the customer portfolio
Develop and build relationships with internal and external customers, influencers, decision makers and sponsors through daily contacts: for Tiers in the area of responsibility.
Understand and proactively analyze customer’s product and service needs. Recognize, anticipate, and solve customer problems by working collaboratively.Use extensive knowledge of customers’ total needs and our product offerings to form account strategies and plans identify, assess and prioritize value growth and operational excellence initiatives which results in an increase of Trinseo market share.
Define annual, value-creating goals consistent with business and account strategy. Monitor, track and report monthly progress of agreed indicators vs. plan for the accounts in the defined region.
Own sales process : Contracts, Pricing Agreements, Volume commitments, Rebates, Credit management, forecasting
Business development :
Create a pipeline of value growth projects and conduct product spec-in trials in local contract manufacturers and molders which are managed in Salesforce.com tool.
Create a pipeline of value growth projects and conduct product spec-in trials in local contract manufacturers and molders, develop and maintain broad market intelligence to understand customer’s organization and structure, competitive situation, trends and future needs working closely with Research&Development, Customer Service and Marketing to promote increased revenue and value.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required: University degree
Minimum Experience (years and type):
- 5+ years in sales or technical sales roles ideally 10 years
- Location: Italy or Germany
- 3+years of experience in plastic industry
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive

- Good level of English and German, verbal and written
