COO Strategy Analyst
The COO Office & Strategy works with the GIH Chief Operating Officer to define, steer, and operationalize strategic priorities across the organization. The unit drives cross‑functional programs, oversees governance and KPI frameworks, supports innovation acceleration, and prepares content and insights for key decision‑making forums.
A central part of the unit’s mandate is to foster innovation and digital transformation, exploring and coordinating initiatives related to advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain use cases, automation, and the broader modernization of processes, tools, and ways of working.
We are seeking a forward‑thinking, structured, and execution‑driven professional to join the COO Office & Strategy team. The role sits at the intersection of strategy execution, innovation, and digital transformation, supporting the COO in shaping the operating model of Generali Investments and accelerating strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with hands‑on program management, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a genuine passion for emerging technologies, AI‑driven innovation, and digital transformation initiatives.
You will gain exposure to several international asset management companies in Europe and US, managing cross‑functional projects, as well as exposure to strategic initiatives of the operations team.
Requirements- Education: Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Innovation Management, Data/AI, or related fields
- Experience: 3–5+ years in Strategy, PMO, Management Consulting, Innovation roles, Digital Transformation programs, or similar functions within financial services or technology
- Passionate about AI-related projects, emerging technologies, digital transformation
- Program & stakeholder management: Proven ability to structure and execute multi‑stakeholder programs involving both business and technical contributors
- Analytical mindset: Strong capability to synthesize data and insights into clear recommendations
- Work authorization: Eligible to work in Italy
- Strategic thinking with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Program and project management expertise, including multi‑stakeholder coordination
- Strong knowledge or curiosity toward AI, generative AI, data/analytics, automation, and blockchain concepts
- Innovation mindset, familiar with innovation methodologies (design thinking, POCs, pilot frameworks)
- Good communication and storytelling skills for executive audiences
- Strong command of PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Power BI or analytics tools
- Proactive, autonomous, and reliable, with a strong ownership mindset
- Adaptability and comfort working in dynamic, evolving environments
