Malteurop produces 2,3 million tons of malt manufactured in its 23 factories around the world (Europe, North America, Mexico, Oceania, Asia). One in 10 beers consumed worldwide contains malt made in our plants. We are partners of the large brewing groups that we have followed in their international growth.

The goals of the role are:

• Ensuring the necessary level of service to suppliers/transport companies and customers
• Optimum processing of raw material deliveries and malt deliveries
• Strict compliance with QHSE rules

Main Tasks:

• Support of suppliers and service providers m/f/d
• Malt and barley contract management and processing in SAP
• Ordering of forwarding agents (truck, ship, container)
• Price agreements with transportation companies
• Processing of deliveries & deliveries/collections according to the acceptance conditions of Malteurop Germany (e.g. requesting certificates, processing delivery/customs documents & freight documents, etc.)
• Malt call-off planning (obtain forecast from customer)
• Clarification of irregularities with the transport service providers
• Barley delivery planning and requesting preliminary samples
• Carrying out all necessary measures to check and document the raw materials received
• Supplier contact (e.g. information on delivery conditions and safety rules, etc.)
• Good cooperation with the port, IHK, plant and health authorities

• Implementation of all necessary measures for checking and documenting the raw materials, malt and co-products received
• Export processing with the associated documents (certificates of origin, phytocertificates, customs formalities)
• Ordering services (bagged goods, courier services, etc.)
• Invoicing for malt co-product deliveries
• Invoice control and recording for raw material deliveries and services (transportation, sea freight, transshipment, sampling, etc.)
• Reminding of customers (control of payment compliance)

• Ensuring good communication with the silo department regarding the loading of malt and the receipt of raw materials
• Acceptance of the raw materials
• Contributing to internal projects
• Performing tasks to fulfill occupational health and safety requirements
• Processing complaints

• Sending samples of malt/barley/co-products to external laboratories and associated documentation
• Written documentation of the processes
• Other administrative activities

Required knowledge:
