Oversight Risk Manager – US Asset Management

Our client, a leading global asset manager, is seeking an experienced Oversight Risk Manager to join its central Risk function.

This role will be instrumental in aligning risk governance across a complex and evolving international ecosystem that includes European and US-based asset managers, with a strong strategic focus on international expansion.

He/she will be responsible for the following activities:

• Coordinate and oversee risk governance practices across affiliated entities globally;
• Collaborate with risk teams across Europe and the US to ensure alignment, efficiency, and consistency in risk management practices;
• Drive automation and efficiency in risk ov121q2ersight activities and reporting processes;
• Support the onboarding and integration of newly acquired asset managers;
• Monitor enterprise and investment risk frameworks, escalating relevant insights to senior stakeholders;
• Continuously contribute to the development and harmonization of the group’s Risk Management Framework.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Finance or Quantitative disciplines (or equivalent experience);
• Prior experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit or Business Consulting within Asset Management or Investment Banking;
• Deep understanding of financial markets and key risk types (market, credit, liquidity, ESG, operational, reputational);
• Experience with data tools and process automation (Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau);
• Knowledge of UK/US regulatory frameworks is highly valued;
• Fluency in English is required; Italian is not essential;
• Strong critical thinking, independence, and adaptability in fast-evolving contexts.
