Our Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene.This role plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional guest experience, in line with the standards of a luxury hotel, by leading a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, train and supervise the HSK team, including room attendants, public area staff and laundry attendants.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness, order and maintenance throughout all areas of the hotel.
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures, checklists and quality control standards, leading by example.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
- Manage linen inventories, amenities, uniforms and cleaning supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost control.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure compliance with luxury standards and immediate resolution of issues.
- Oversee laundry operations and liaise with external providers as necessary.
- Handle guest feedback and special requests with discretion, efficiency and personalized service.
- Ensure compliance with LQA, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor department budgets, schedules and staffing needs, optimizing resources and productivity.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Housekeeping procedures, materials and equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of LQA standards.
- Strong leadership, organizational and team building skills.
- Excellent attention to details and a passion for maintaining high standards.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in HSK management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility regarding schedules, weekends and holidays.
