Export area manager
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company in the commercial furniture sector, serving major Retail and GDO clients both in Italy and abroad. With over 200 employees and a turnover of approximately €65 million, the company is now expanding its sales team.
We are looking for an Export Area Manager, ideally with experience in retail furniture, contract, GDO, or GDS sectors.
Reporting directly to General Management, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing the food and non-food retail furniture market in the UK and other countries, depending on their language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scout new markets and clients in the food and non-food retail furniture sectors
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships
- Manage and grow the sales network (agents, dealers, distributors, architectural or design firms)
- Organize meetings with potential new clients
- Participate in site visits to analyze and define space layouts
- Oversee commercial site management during installation and setup phases
- Prepare quotations and/or product configurations in collaboration with the Technical Department
Requirements:
- Proven experience in similar roles within commercial/retail/contract furniture companies
- Fluent in English and French or Spanish
- Comfortable with computer tools and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
- Availability for in-office training periods at company HQ (Rovigo, Italy)

What the company offers:

- Gross annual salary range: €50,000 – €60,000, based on experience and skills
