Bar Assistant Manager | Castello di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional ready to grow their leadership journey while remaining deeply connected to the craft of bar service.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Bar Manager in the day-to-day management of the bar operations, ensuring consistency with Belmond service standards.
- Supervise bar service and guest interactions, delivering a seamless, personalised, and high-quality experience.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the bar team, fostering a positive working environment and a culture of continuous learning.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and operational organisation.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management, supporting cost control and revenue optimisation.
- Handle guest feedback, enquiries, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to support events, special menus, and seasonal concepts.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a luxury hotel bar or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and international beverage trends.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- A strong guest-oriented mindset, with attention to detail and service excellence.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages is considered an advantage.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
